MMSA representatives actively participate in various conferences and workshops organised by the European Commission. MMSA was an active partner in ‘Help – for a Life without Tobacco’, the smoking awareness EC campaign. Till now MMSA devised 3 projects within this campaign, one of which consisted of training other European medical students in public health peer education.

MMSA is an official signatory of the European Action on Drugs (EAD) – as part of the initiative MMSA organises public outreach and peer education sessions in various academic institutions so as to raise awareness about this issue.

Being a full EMSA member, MMSA representatives participated in the annual EMSA General Assembly and are part of the EMS Council and the Working Group.

MMSA members represents the National Youth Council (KNŻ) and the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) on European Youth Forum workshops, seminars and other events. The MMSA gives considerable input, especially in the public health and human rights issues.

CUAMM was granted a European Commission grant for a global health transnational project in Europe. The MMSA, together with other European non-governmental organisations have joined the cause. The aims of the project are to sensitise Europeans towards the health and rights disparity between Europe and developing countries and to share experiences and resources between the permanent network formed by the participating organisations.
