    Application for clinical training in surgery

    Dear Sir or Madame!

    We would like to apply for a two-monthclinical training in surgery at your hospital during our final year of medical education.

    We are medical students in good standing, studying at the University of Luebeck.
    During the final year, German medical students undertake periods of clinical training in internal medicine, surgery and one subject of their own choice, each period lasting four months.

    We are especially interested in surgery. In addition to all surgery lectures and seminars at our university, we completed one month of clerkship in surgery in 2010 in Ukraine.

    We would appreciate being scheduled to the Department of surgery during the following period:

    February 27– April 20, 2012
