The long awaited 11th Training and Resource Development Weekend Seminar application forms are now available!

Date: 21st – 23rd October 2011

Location: SunCrest Hotel in Qawra (4 Star Hotel)

Price: 55€ (excl. transport) Smart Card Refundable

Theme: Cross Roads

This year TRD is targeting all the medical students. Whether you are a fresher 1st year or a 5th year there is a training session for you! We will be having a large variety of training sessions. The following are some of the training sessions* we will be offering throughout the weekend; Teamwork Skills, Presentation skills, Suture workshop, Sessions about MMSA and many more.

Apart from having a wide range of sessions, we will also be getting distinguished guests to give intellectual talks to everyone.

Food: throughout the weekend is included in the 55 euros and this includes 2 buffet breakfast, 2 buffet dinners and a sandwich for Saturday lunch.

Transport: to and from the hotel (see application form) is optional at an extra 2.50€

A TRD welcome package will be given at registration. This will include some freebies, the agenda for the weekend and your attendance sheet which you will be required to get stamped after your sessions in order to receive your TRD Certificate.

Party 2 - 22nd October 2011 at Amazonia Buggibba – Theme: ABC – Anything But Clothes

Application forms for TRD can be downloaded from this link: TRD 2011 Application Form. Please print out an application form (they will not be available at the stand) and bring it filled in to the MMSA Freshers stand at the University Quadrangle from the 3rd of October to the 8th of October from 8am to 3pm. Since spaces are limited, the applications will be processed on a first come first serve basis!

      Hi Jaz :)

      Thanks for your interest in TRD. The reason is quite a simple one, MMSA is a separate organization from MADs and TRD is designed for Medical students and introducing them to MMSA etc…

      Since spaces are limited we must therefore give priority to MMSA members before we can let non-mmsa members attend TRD.

      That said if we have left over spaces we will be more than happy to let Dentistry students join :) If you come to our stand on Friday (the last day of applications) we can tell you how many spots are left and if there are left over let you guys apply :)
