Annual Report

A comprehensive report of MMSA’s activities throughout the preceding year, distributed to its various partners and externals and also serves as a formal record of what MMSA has achieved. Amongst different externals one finds: ministries, rectorate, heads of departments, MDH staff, KPS members, IFMSA, EMSA, EU, WHO.

Freshers’ Booklet

Freshers’ Booklet is an annual booklet targeted towards the first years, to introduce them to MMSA, the Faculty of Medicine and the course itself. Written by students for students it makes freshers feel welcome in the alien atmosphere of University.

Minima Medicamenta

A small publication produced as the fruit of student initiative, Minima Medicamenta aims to maintain the momentum gained by the SISM association in Italy. It consists of a booklet which will contain a number of authentic clinical case reports which clinical students themselves collect from the wards. This publication aims not only to help share knowledge and interesting medical articles, but also to get students into the habit of writing in the medical register, and start developing skills in scientific publication.

Murmur

One of Media’s main projects, Murmur is an annual magazine which is distributed free of charge to all medical students and doctors at Mater Dei Hospital. It features opinion articles, consultant interviews, humour and articles about current medical affairs. Murmur is a respected publication in the Maltese medical community and within IFMSA.
