Following months of hard work, SCORA is proud to announce the release event during which the latest edition of MATERNA 2022 will be launched. MATERNA is a magazine composed of numerous articles submitted by medical students following extensive review by local academics, compiled by SCORA. The magazine touches up on subjects related to fertility, maternal health and issues arising during and after pregnancy. It is with great pleasure to announce that, for the first time ever, a version of MATERNA will be made available at the University of Malta library and HyDi.

The agenda for this event entails a presentation delivered by a reproductive psychiatrist, Dr. Edith Agius, who specialises in mental health surrounding infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, perinatal loss, trauma and infant mental health. The magazine will then be introduced by Owen Cachia, the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights' Officer within MMSA, together with the editors of the magazine. This will be followed by a short presentation by each author as an opportunity to present their work.
