Hey guys! The SCOPET team is proud to announce an all-new addition to the Capacity Building scene; a workshop targeting compassion fatigue titled “The Cost of Caring”
We have invited a guest speaker, Dr Natalie Kenely, a Resident Senior Lecturer within the Faculty of Social Wellbeing. Her main research interests are emotional intelligence, compassion fatigue, burnout and youth mental health amongst other topics. We have therefore decided to collaborate with her as we believe these are highly important issues for anyone aspiring to work in a healthcare setting.
IMPORTANT: Since compassion fatigue is a topic focused on patient care which is more relevant to the clinical aspect of our course, clinical students will be prioritised for this workshop.
When? Wednesday 7th December from 5-7pm
Where? Dar Manwel Magri (DMM)
Attendees will be picked on a first come first serve basis and there will be a waiting list once the event reaches maximum capacity!
The deadline to apply is Tuesday 6th December@ 23:59 CET
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact either myself, Maia Fsadni, Jade Kelly Cassar, Clara Ann Formosa or Anneka Pace.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
