Hi everyone! I want to share with you a new EMSA opportunity for which all MMSA members are able to attend 
What is EMSA?
The European Medical Students' Association (EMSA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation representing medical students from all across Europe. EMSA offers several opportunities to its members and provides a voice for European medical students. It currently unites 50,000 medical students coming from 30 different countries (including MMSA Malta ). EMSA aims to develop a united and solidary Europe in which medical students actively promote health. The six main pillars which make up EMSA are Public Health, Health Policy, Medical Science, Medical Education, Medical Ethics and Human Rights and European Integration and Culture.
What is BLUEcon?
BLUEcon is an in-person event centered around pillar work and capacity building, reuniting members from all across Europe to discuss and learn about topics dear to their heart. BLUEcon is similar to a General Assembly without plenaries and instead more time to work substantively in pillar sessions and workshops, and to connect with like-minded students during the social events (e.g. Opening Gala, European Village Party).
You can find more information on the event and the sessions in the preliminary agenda. The workshops and sessions will be planned by the European EMSA Board (EEB) and EEB-elect together.

23rd -26th November 2023
Where will BLUEcon take place?
Thessaloniki, Greece. This event is hosted by the Executive Board with the kind support of individuals from HelMSIC Thessaloniki.
What is the cost of BLUEcon and what is included?
Participation fee amounts to 180 Euros and includes accommodation from 23rd-26th November 2023, three meals a day, coffee breaks and the social program. A certificate of attendance from the EMSA European Board will be given after the event.
When is the deadline to apply?

The major criteria in processing the applications and granting acceptances is the motivational letter. This paragraph is your chance to explain and reach out to the EEB why you would like to attend.
VERY IMPORTANT: Kindly do let me or Rebekah St. John if you intend to apply or have applied as we have to submit your names in the Maltese delegation list for EMSA to process.
