Hello Everyone !!
We are happy to finally announce SCORA’s most anticipated campaign - World AIDS Day!

This is an annual event which is celebrated on the 1st of December, with SCORA organising 3 events to commemorate this day:
- Workshop for all MMSA members on the 20th of November from 3pm-5pm. This workshop will educate medical students on HIV & AIDS, preparing them for our outreaching events, as well as providing knowledge to be used as future doctors.
- Event at Valletta on the 29th November between 10am-5pm
- Event at the University Quadrangle on the 1st December between 10am-5pm
The events at University & Valletta will be fun & lively outreaching opportunities, targeting university students and the general public respectively, to raise awareness and target the stigma associated with HIV and AIDS. This campaign will give MMSA members the chance to hold an active role in the organisation and aid in the execution of these events.
In light of the above, we’re excited to extend the opportunity to apply for the following roles:
•
World AIDS Day Helper (limited spots)
•
Flashmob Choreographer (limited spots)
•
Flashmob Dancer (unlimited spots!!)
Fill in the following form based on the role(s) you’d like to apply for:
https://forms.gle/iRXXyqTq9anqRf8V7
The role description can be found in the application form.

Applications will close on Tuesday 21st October at 23:59
Selection of participants will be based on your application rather than on a first-come-first-served basis. By applying for these roles, you are committing by ensuring to make yourselves available for any meetings, dance rehearsals and the day of the WAD events.
Later on we will then be releasing another call for a limited number of outreachers for our Quadrangle & Valletta events.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact myself, Lauren Aquilina, Kyra Magro or Emma Farrugia
