Hi everyone! Summer is finally here, which means it's time to launch our very first SCOPH event of the new term under the Beat the Burn Campaign!

Our campaign will kick off with a workshop, followed by several peer education sessions and beach outreaches, and we're so excited to have you join us!

This campaign aims to raise awareness about the dangers of excessive sun exposure, the different types of skin cancer, and the importance of practising photoprotection in our everyday lives.

The workshop will feature a session by Dr Zane Attard and Dr Hannah Xuereb, dermatologists, who will provide essential knowledge to help prepare students for the Beat the Burn peer education sessions and beach outreaches. As an added bonus, attendees of this workshop will be given priority for participation in the Beach Outreach and Health Check sessions!

To wrap up the workshop, we'll be hosting a fun Kahoot! quiz, where participants will have the chance to win a prize! We hope to see you all there!
