On Friday the 17th of November, MMSA-SCOME’s Practice Makes Perfect team organised a “Bandaging and Suturing Workshop” which took place at KSU Common Room. The event, having been sold out within less than 5 minutes of launch, was a huge success, with 40 pre-clinical medical students managing to learn the essential basics of these important clinical skills.

Led by Dr. Robert Cachia and Dr. Gabriel Borg, the workshop consisted of two 20-minute presentations given by each doctor on suturing and bandaging respectively, followed by two 40-minute practical sessions.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in this workshop, as well as Dr. Cachia and Dr. Borg and their colleagues for their continuous support and help which makes such workshops ultimately possible. See you at the next Practice Makes Perfect event!
